Giangiacomo Pinardi studied guitar with Costantino Amiti and specialized in ancient plucked instruments under the guidance of Massimo Lonardi.
Since 2001, he has collaborated steadily with the ensemble Europa Galante, directed by Fabio Biondi, performing regularly in the most prestigious international contexts worldwide.
He boasts an intensive concert career and has collaborated with numerous ensembles specializing in the Baroque repertoire, including I Barocchisti, Cappella Mediterranea, and the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble.
With over one hundred and twenty recordings for the most important labels in the field, he is also active in research and education, having taught lute and ensemble music in various Italian conservatories and music institutes.
Furthermore, he has edited the critical edition of the works of Francesco Corbetta.
