Born in 1990, Albrich began his musical studies as a cellist, training with Eulàlia Subirà, Lluís Claret, María de Macedo, and Xenia Jankovic, and graduating from the Detmold Hochschule für Musik, where he was awarded the Pau Casals Scholarship. In 2013, he began his vocal studies at the same university, later completing them summa cum laude at the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona under the guidance of Dolors Aldea. He has participated in masterclasses with Dalton Baldwin, Matthias Goerne, Thomas Hampson, Wolfgang Rieger, and Furio Zanasi.
A prize-winner in several international competitions — including the Concurs Palet (2018), the Concurso Permanente de Juventudes Musicales de España (2019), and the Concurso Internacional de Logroño (2023) — and a finalist at the Cavalli-Monteverdi Competition (2023), he has embarked on a solo career of growing recognition, also launched thanks to the Lied the Future program of the Schubertíada de Vilabertran.
Since 2019, he has collaborated with orchestras such as the Sinfónica de Castilla y León, the Orquesta RTVE, and historically informed ensembles such as La Ritirata and Cremona Antiqua, performing at the Palau de la Música Catalana, the L'Auditori in Barcelona, and the Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao under the direction of Carlos Mena, Miguel Romea, and Xavier Puig, among others.
His repertoire spans from the oratorios of Bach (Magnificat, Passions) to Händel’s Messiah, from the Requiems of Mozart, Brahms, and Fauré to Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and the symphonic lieder of Mahler and Ravel. In the operatic field, he distinguishes himself in the Monteverdian repertoire and in Scarlatti's Il Primo Omicidio. Also active in chamber music, he has performed the world premieres of compositions by Catalan authors such as Brotons, Guinovart, and Domènech. Upcoming seasons will see him make his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu and other prestigious international theaters and festivals.
