Born in Cáceres into a family of flamenco artists, Miriam Cantero is a cantaora and singer with a sweet, melismatic, and versatile voice, which gives her cante a style of unmistakable character.
Winner of numerous awards, including the First Prize Saetas Ciudad de la Unión 2024, she was recognized as Best Outstanding Soloist at the Premios de la Música Extremeña 2025.
She has participated in many national and international events, performing on stages such as the Theatre of Nîmes, the Teatro Real in Madrid, and the Roman Theatre of Mérida, sharing the stage with artists of the caliber of Carmen Linares, Miguel Poveda, Ana Belén, Diana Navarro, Rozalén, María Toledo, and José Manuel Zapata.
She has released several singles and two albums: MAESTRAS, a flamenco-fusion work in tribute to the great female artists in music history, and ECLÉCTICA, an album that showcases her boundary-breaking musical breadth and versatility.
